Nevado del Tolima: A Journey of Transformation
Advanced Level · 5,220 m a.s.l.
We travel through the heart of Los Nevados National Natural Park, from Ibagué to Salento, crossing high Andean forests, páramos (high-altitude moorlands), lagoons, and hot springs. Along this route, we attempt to summit Nevado del Tolima (5,220 meters above sea level) and cross the departments of Tolima and Quindío.
More than a hike, it's an inner journey to recognize, understand, and transform fear. We will learn to differentiate between the fear that protects us and the fear that limits us, to rediscover our strength and move forward with clarity toward who we truly are.
5 days: departing from the city of Ibagué via the Combeima Canyon, passing through Las Perlas Creek, the Cañón hot springs, Arenales Camp, and attempting a summit via the Helipuerto route. Afterward, we'll travel to the "La Playa" farm, and the following day descend to the Cocora Valley and Salento.
